Mobile Health Services

Prevention is the key to good health and now Marshfield Clinic is making it more convenient.

The Marshfield Clinic's Mobile Health Screening Unit believes that education and prevention are the keys to a healthy lifestyle. The unit works together with other health care providers, educators and agencies to screen, educate and refer women for continued care and treatment.

We will provide services to any entity that may wish to have them, such as health departments, businesses, church groups and other health care providers. This mobile health care delivery system offers quality care and convenience to the people we serve, with flexible and extended hours. All these services are available at a location that is easy to access.

The totally self-contained 40-foot-screening van accommodates medical staff to perform and provide a range of health tests and screening services for women in a confidential manner. It will travel to any location in Wisconsin to provide screening services. Women 18 years and older can be screened for breast cancer (mammography) and osteoporosis (bone density).

Our goal is to build strong relationships with the patients, agencies and other health care providers we serve. Through these relationships we will work together to meet the screening needs of many Wisconsin people.

For more information on scheduling an appointment, or if you'd like to make arrangements to have the van visit your community or place of employment, call 1-800-782-8581; ext. 79123.
